January 2005
It's the beginning of a new year, a time traditionally reserved for reflection and goal setting. It is my hope I will be able to realise any objectives I choose to focus on for the next twelve months. I've been in contact with family members close by and hope to continue our association in the future. As a group we are spread out all over the globe, however, we must find ways to reach out and become a closer, stronger unit. While we strive towards this goal, let us give some thought to the oft discussed and never arranged family reunion. Let's find new ways to come together.
Let FAMILY UNITY be our motto in 2005!
Have a wonderful, blessed year.

Phoenix,
ReplyDeleteThat's a great posting. Very inspiring!
Menziefam - Aunt Freda from Browns Town, our oldest living relative, celebrated her 80th birthday on 2005 April 21. We had a party for her. She was quite surprised and happy and commented that this was only the second birthday party she has ever had! Is'nt it wonderful?!
I will try to post some pictures soon so you can all get a glimpse of some of the activities.
She was interviewed by our leading daily newspaper and featured in the 'Gleaner' on sunday April 24 in the 'Outlook' section of the paper. You can view the paper online.
Much love. 'Till next time.
